Business Informatics
The Master in Business Informatics study course will prepare you for your specialist role and executive management position in the field of business IT. The study course thereby places special emphasis on utilising IT solutions from an economic point of view.
When you can provide a first university degree (usually a Bachelor Degree) in business informatics, computer science or business administration, then you can continue your education with a Master Degree.
In your role as a business informatics specialist, you create the interface between application-oriented specialist departments, company management, IT and the computer centre. You will advise the management board and specialist or technical departments for the planning and implementation of IT projects. You will be able to maintain an overview of the different requirements and find the best solution in coordination with the stakeholders who are involved in such projects. You will therefore take into account technical and economic requirements in this role.
Once you have concluded the Master's study course, then you will be qualified for assuming the responsible tasks in project management or as a specialist employee or executive manager.
